RECENT SHOWS:

The new Stillwater Library gallery hosted Stephen J. Gates during the month of January 2008. The show, entitled "Counterparts - Pastel vs. Giclee" was an exhibition of ten original pastel drawings, each paired with a giclee print.

WineFest No. 11, is a fundraiser for the U of M Pediatrics Foundation. Stephen is one of 15 local artists to transform wine barrels into unique works of art. These barrels will be on the silent auction blocks during WineFest's silent auctions at the Grand Tasting and the Fine Wine Dinner on Friday, May 12, 2006 and Saturday, May 13, 2006. The barrels will be on display at host restaurants and retailers between April 3 and May 10. Stephen's barrel is on display right now at the California Cafe at the Mall of America.
